By accessing or using the website lawtarazoo.com (the "Website") and the services offered through it (the "Services"), you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Law Tarazoo Technologies LLP ("Law Tarazoo", "we", "us", "our").
Law Tarazoo is a legal-tech platform that facilitates access to legal advisory and document-drafting services rendered by qualified advocates enrolled with State Bar Councils and Company Secretaries qualified under the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 (collectively, the "Empanelled Professionals"). The Services include, without limitation, personalized Will drafting, succession-planning consultations, and optional ancillary services such as Will registration assistance.
The Website itself does not provide legal advice. Legal advice is rendered only by the Empanelled Professionals, in the course of an engagement formally accepted by Law Tarazoo on your behalf, after successful receipt of payment.
In accordance with the Bar Council of India Rules made under the Advocates Act, 1961, advocates are prohibited from solicitation or advertisement. The content of this Website is provided for general informational purposes only, at the specific request of the User, and is not intended to constitute solicitation, invitation, inducement, or advertisement of legal services. By accessing the Website, the User acknowledges that the User has voluntarily sought information about the Services and that no advertisement, inducement, or solicitation has been made by Law Tarazoo or the Empanelled Professionals.
Mere browsing of the Website, downloading of content, or submission of a contact form does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when (a) you make payment for a Service in full, (b) Law Tarazoo confirms acceptance of the engagement in writing (which may be by email or in-app confirmation), and (c) you participate in the scheduled consultation.
You represent that (a) you are at least 18 years of age, (b) you have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and (c) you are using the Services for lawful purposes and on your own behalf or on behalf of a person whom you are duly authorised to represent.
Law Tarazoo offers five distinct services. The Engagement Scope depends on the service chosen at the time of payment:
None of the engagements include: (i) registration of the Will with the Sub-Registrar (available as a separate engagement on actuals); (ii) execution of the Will (which must be performed by the testator in the presence of at least two attesting witnesses under Section 63 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925); (iii) ongoing custody of the original Will; (iv) probate, Letters of Administration, or any post-death proceedings; or (v) any service not expressly listed in the chosen tier's scope above.
You agree to (a) provide accurate, complete, and current information; (b) disclose all material facts relevant to your succession planning, including asset details, family circumstances, and existing legal instruments; (c) not withhold information that would materially affect the drafting; and (d) review the draft Will carefully and raise concerns before execution. Law Tarazoo and the Empanelled Professionals are not liable for any consequence arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or withheld information.
The fees for our services are: Online Will ₹5,000, Personalised Will ₹25,000, NRI Will ₹50,000, Pure Consulting (Succession) ₹10,000, and Succession Planning ₹1,00,000. All fees are payable in full prior to commencement of services, through our payment partner Cashfree Payments Pvt. Ltd., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment aggregator licensed by the Reserve Bank of India. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, netbanking, UPI, and EMI on supported cards. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is additional where applicable and will be reflected in the invoice. Optional add-on services are billed separately on actuals and are subject to a quote shared and accepted in writing in advance.
Refunds are governed by the per-tier refund schedule set out in our Refund Policy. In summary: a full refund is available before any consultation has occurred or any draft has been delivered. Partial refunds may apply where a consultation has taken place but no draft has been delivered, with retention amounts to cover the advocate time already expended. No refund is available once the first draft has been delivered or the consultation under the Pure Consulting tier has occurred. Refunds, where due, are processed to the original payment method through Cashfree within ten (10) working days of acceptance of the refund request.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
(a) Law Tarazoo's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Services, whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise, shall not exceed the fees actually paid by the User to Law Tarazoo for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.
(b) Law Tarazoo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of goodwill.
(c) Law Tarazoo shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from (i) execution defects in the Will caused by failure to follow the execution checklist provided; (ii) post-execution events including but not limited to subsequent marriage, divorce, or birth of a child, where the User did not update the Will to reflect the change; (iii) disputes arising from inaccurate or incomplete information furnished by the User; or (iv) acts of force majeure including natural disasters, government action, or pandemic.

Law Tarazoo may, at its sole discretion, decline or terminate an engagement (with full refund of unutilised fees) where (a) a conflict of interest is identified; (b) the User furnishes false or misleading information; (c) the requested Service is contrary to law or public policy; or (d) the User engages in abusive, threatening, or harassing conduct toward Empanelled Professionals or staff.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra. Parties shall, however, first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of thirty (30) days before initiating proceedings.
